Lost or stolen card
Time matters. As soon as you notice your card is missing, sign in to view the remaining balance, then call our support line right away. Cards reported within 48 hours of loss and never used by an unauthorized party can usually be replaced for the remaining balance, subject to your card-specific terms.
Once the card is reported, we'll flag the number to block any further charges. If your card has chip and PIN enabled, the PIN you set continues to protect any unauthorized use even before you report it.
Reporting a fraudulent transaction
If you believe an unauthorized transaction was made on your card:
- Gather the transaction date, the merchant name, and the disputed amount.
- Contact us by phone or email with the details above plus the last 4 digits of your card.
- We'll open an investigation. Confirmed fraud is provisionally credited to your card within 10 business days while we complete the review.
You can also report fraud directly to the federal authorities at reportfraud.ftc.gov or file a consumer complaint with the CFPB.
